Please say a prayer for my dear friend Edmond Tse that through God's will, that he is going to be ok. That Edmond is fulfilled with the nurturance to get through whatever he is feeling or whatever he is facing. Pray that God would help him in his most time of need. I’m writing this as a praise report!
For a year and a half, I’ve been praying that God opens up an opportunity for me to work close to home because my current employer is 1.5 hrs away.
One year ago, I made it to the final round of the interview process for a job close to home and was not selected for the role. At the time I was crushed that what seemed to be an answer to my prayer didn’t materialize.
Fast forward to a year later and today I was offered not one, but two jobs that are 15 minutes away from home. One of the roles pays 25% more than what I’m making now and I’ll be doing really interesting work (God is amazing!).
In retrospect, God closing the door to the first opportunity a year ago was a blessing. I realize that because of my desperation at that time, I would have taken a lower position and made less money and missed out on all of the relevant experience I gained over the last year in my current role and I’m so happy that He closed the door to that opportunity.
God’s timing is always perfect and I know that He cares for and meets all of our needs.
I share this story to encourage you to keep persisting in prayer; He has not forgotten you and loves you deeply.
Please continue to pray for minorities in Pakistan. This lady Asia Bibi wonderful example of unshakeable faith.
