Prayer

Why We Pray

It is a great privilege to pray; to bring before a God who deeply loves us, our cares, needs and requests. We believe that when we pray, God hears, and because we have prayed, we have advanced God’s purposes into desperate situations. We can pray personally and privately, and as a faith community, across our campuses we can pray for each other. We welcome your requests and you are also invited to pray with us.

You may add your prayer request to our prayer wall using the form below. Once your prayer request is received, we will share it according to your instructions. Feel free to submit as many prayer requests as you like!

My uncle (a father of three girls) is on life support. Yesterday a vessel in his brain burst while he was asleep. He was taken to the hospital and the doctors pronounced him brain dead. The doctors have said there is nothing they can do. Can you please pray for him and his family? Can you please pray for a miracle?

News from my sister Ruth re. her spinal stenosis consultation with the surgeon in London, On yesterday: She and her husband are grateful for the kindness, the competence and the egoless confidence of the physician who examined her. Ruth asked him, "Can you help me?" He answered calmly without ego..."Yes, I do 150 of these surgeries a year and most people are helped unless there is some other untreated underlying issue." We continue in prayer for her and many others in our circles who are suffering from age-related arthritic pain. Jesus is the compassionate and powerful healer of pain. Jesus also assures us that even though we are walking through valleys of pain and shadow, we do not need to fear evil, "for THOU ART WITH ME". A good walk in the snow helps too or singing a song with one's husband as Ruth and her husband were doing tonight when I called them tonight. Let us live in gratitude.

I feel really grateful for this prayer wall, and the little clicks that indicate the awareness of another person who is helping us all pray for each other. Here is a mantra to encourage us to keep at it...From Ephesians 6:18

"Pray in the Spirit

On all occasions

With all kinds of prayers and requests.

....Be alert and

Always keep on praying

For ALL GOD's PEOPLE"

I am awaiting news of how my sister, Ruth's' consult with the spinal cord surgeon went yesterday. Trusting God for a good outcome.

Pray for all of us who need to practice "Relationship Hygiene" ( I wish I could insert an emoji with a gentle smile). A smile is a curved line that often sets things straight. I am praying for several people, including myself, who are needing love as we heal from things that we do not talk about. God knows us. "God is the good shepherd who also can move mountains."

My sister Ruth has stenosis in a lower joint of her spinal cord. She will see a surgeon on Monday, Jan. 28 about the possibility of a procedure to reduce the pressure on her spinal nerves that has been causing acute pain. She has also had a root canal procedure that has suffered infection...So pain in her legs and back and pain in her jaw. I would like us to bring her to Jesus, the great physician over the next two weeks for healing and relief of pain. Thank you.

My good friend Gaby's father has been diagnosed with leukemia and he went through a round of chemo last year but there is no improvement. Doctor said he only has 4 to 6 months. This news zapped Ennio's optimism. He knows God but lost his connection with God some time ago. Please pray for him, his healing, for his relationship with the Lord. Please pray for doctors, to deliver messages better. Thank you.

Please help me pray for the final closing of our condo unit on January 24. That God will provide and will move on our station. That the bank will give us the approval we need to close. That He will touch the hearts and use people to make this possible. Thank you and God bless us all.

Every day, I pray to be reunited with my birth mom and my birth dad. Each day is hard, but I know that God is strengthening me each day, as I wait. Lord, paying the price is what I will do. Please, heal my hurt. I'm just so happy to be a part of this beautiful world. Thank you...
