Added this request for one of our faithful volunteers and parents. Nathan, the boy we are praying for is his 15yr old nephew.

Nate (15yrs) has a Rare Sarcoma not seen before. There are slow growing cells and cells that are behaving erratically. Some cells are those found in breast cancer. So they asking for approval from the government to get a drug to use on Nate that hasn’t been used in kids. He had to go back to Sick Kids Wednesday August 27th for a MRI. Then Tuesday September 2nd he has to go back for a CT, PET/CT and a ECG. They need to see if it has spread anywhere else because the first MRI was done 8 months ago. This will determine if they have to change the treatment plan. Then we see the Oncology team on Monday September 8th for results of all tests. They explained that surgery would be to complicated as they would have to cut through bone, muscles and nerves. So their hope is to shrink the tumour enough so then they can do surgery.

I would love for you to pray for me during this time of confusion and anxiety in my life . I’m in a place where I’m battling stress of finding a job and keeping my anxiety at bay. I have been trying to find a job for a while now . I have been also struggling to even find a career through so many disappointments in my life. Just want answers to what I’m supposed to do .

Please pray for healing and reconciliation in my brother's (Robert) family. Robert professed faith in Jesus years ago but fell away. His wife and 3 adult children are not Christians, and there is much indifference and strain in the family. Pray that Robert returns to the Lord and can be a witness to Jesus Christ in his family (it's never too late) Thank you.

Please pray for David who has served time in jail for serious infractions. He has professed faith in Jesus Christ but struggles with shame, lack of purpose, and feeling like a failure. He has tried to find a job many times but because of his record, no one will hire him. Pray that David's heart and mind will heal, that God will provide him with a job and a strong Christian friend (he has no friends at the moment), and that he will have a deep encounters with God when he reads the Word and prays. Thank you.
