Celebrating Pastor Keith Smith

Reverend Keith Raymond Smith passed away tragically in a car accident on September 2, 2026, while travelling in the Yukon. He is deeply missed by his wife, Esther, his sons David (Katie) and Matthew (Margaret), and his ‘Sunshines’ Reuben, Finley, Levin, Cormac, and Eleanor. He will be deeply missed by his step-father Don Ernst, his sisters Susan, Lee Ann, and Sandy, as well as many nieces and nephews. He will also be deeply missed by the many people whose lives he touched.

For nearly 50 years, Keith faithfully served with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, including 22 years as Lead Pastor of Agincourt Pentecostal Church, now OneChurch.to. His deep love for Jesus, passion for people, and commitment to investing in children, youth, and leaders shaped generations. He will be remembered for his wisdom, integrity, humour, tender heart, and unwavering desire to ask, “What is best for Christ’s church?”

In lieu of flowers, the family would request that you read one more story (preferably with silly voices) or care for someone who is six-months down the road from their own moment of tragedy.
