Prayer of Healing

Healing Prayer:
God, my roots feel shallow, barely reaching the nourishment I truly need. Draw me deeper, past the sugar water this world offers, into the endless flow of your river of life. Teach me to want you more than money, family, sex, praise, security, or popularity — things I too often lean on but that cannot truly sustain me. Help me to enjoy all things but be owned by no things. I long for you to be my source, my strength, and my satisfaction. Heal my heart so that I desire you above all else — more than anything this exile world can offer. Anchor me in your love, where true freedom and healing begin. Amen.
