Prayer of Blessing
Father God,
We believe that your promises are true. You are our Shepherd and you provide all that the world needs. Thank you for being a God who works out your plans in our lives, our communities, our cities, and in our world. You have good blessings for every person and every place that has been created by your hand.
Lord, we declare that You are working out your good plans for our community. Let your faithful love sustain every individual who calls OneChurch.to their home. May your presence bring restoration in where there is brokenness, provision where there is need, and peace where there is conflict. God, we ask that you would protect and guide us. Help us to walk together as a community in unity and love.
God, today we declare your promises over our city and our country. You are our sun and shield, our protector and provider. God, please bless all of our leaders with wisdom and integrity – bless them with righteousness and integrity to guide their decisions. We ask for your justice to flow like a mighty river through our country, for your provision to be experienced by all who are in need and for your mercy to bring healing to those who are hurting. God, may your light shine in every corner, driving out the darkness and replacing it with hope and joy.
Father, we lift up our world to you. You created every nation and every person, and your plans for your world are good. We ask that you work out your purposes on a global scale, would you bring peace where there is war, healing where there is sickness, and provision where there is lack. God, let your faithful love remind all people that you are God with us. Draw the hearts of all nations and all leaders towards you, and let us see your hand at work in miraculous ways.
God, help each of us to be a channel of your blessing, passing on your love, your mercy, your kindness, your goodness and your grace to others. Use our lives to shine your light in our community, in our city, and in our world so that your wonderful blessings can be extended through our lives!
Amen.
