Reassembling Prayer

Have you ever had a chance to read The Lord’s Prayer? As quaint as it sounds, there’s a lot more under the surface. In fact, the prayer that Jesus teaches his disciples sums up His own ministry and what He’s all about.

It’s a prayer of hope because it is Jesus who gives us this prayer – the resurrected one and the Great Resurrector! It is also a prayer of confidence, finding itself balancing between the here and not yet – transformed and adopted into a new family and Kingdom way and yet living life in this kingdom where darkness presides.
